The Ottawa Shorinji Kan Jiu Jitsu dojo is located in downtown Ottawa and has classes 3 times per week. The club instructor is Steve White. 

There are adult and junior's classes. The junior class is open to anyone from the ages 8 to 16. It approximately follows the adult syllabus but is adapted to an appropriate level for the age range. Our Juniors learn an appropriate level of defence against armed and unarmed opponents, striking, and falling techniques, in a controlled environment. Since bodies at this age are still developing, certain techniques, such as locks, are performed to position only, to protect growing bones and joints.

· Fees are non-refundable and must be paid on or before the first class of the month.

· Drop in fees must be paid before the class.

· Prospective members are encouraged to try out two classes free of charge without obligation. This does not include Jitsu Canada members actively training at other dojo.
