This course is open to persons graded orange belt and green belt. It provides an introduction to the teaching of jiu jitsu and will prepare students for teaching basic techniques to beginners. Participation in this course is required before grading to purple belt. Green belts wishing to grade this semester may do so provided they are registered for the course. Yellow belts may also register for this course if they will be grading this semester. Please wear casual clothes for the classroom portion of the course, a gi is required for the practical section. Event Info:
This course is open to persons graded purple belt and light blue belt who are qualified assistant instructors. It builds on the information given in the Assistant Instructor Course and will prepare students for planning and teaching entire sessions. Participation in this course is required before grading to dark blue belt. Light blue belts wishing to grade the day before may do so provided they are registered for the course. Green belts may also register for this course if they will be grading this semester. Please wear casual clothes for the classroom portion of the course, a gi is required for the practical section. Glen Pitcher Sensei, from Musubi Dojo in Bowmanville will present a 'Use of Force' seminar, as well as teaching some PPCT techniques, the jiu jitsu based system widely used in Canadian law enforcement.
